Being a sustainable fashion brand means caring for the environment while producing your products. You make sure you don’t use more new raw materials than needed and preferably work with recycled materials. Sustainability goes further than just production. The way you store and ship your products can be sustainable as well. 

Fast fashion brands are the opposite of sustainable brands. Fast fashion brands don’t care about their environmental impact. Fast fashion brands are known for their lower priced clothing collections. These collections are sold in large quantities for a limited time. To keep these prices low these companies prefer cheaper fabrics, these fabrics are usually bad for the environment. The limited time these collections are available also leads to a lot of waste, when the collection goes out of sale, large amounts of clothing are burned or thrown away.

At Livable Swim, we want to have a more positive impact on the environment and our customers. We want to show the world that you can have a unique swimwear style and still be sustainable.

That's why Livable Swim has chosen to produce our swimwear locally using recycled fabrics and sell our swimwear handmade to order.

Handmade to order means we start making the items you want as soon as you place an order on our website. With this method we can prevent overproduction.
